This site is owned and developed by Jim and Laura Hofman. We have always loved to travel and explore what makes American cities (and small towns) unique. We are big advocates of “buying local” and have discovered countless specialty products, edible and otherwise, across the United States.
StateGiftsUSA.com has been online since November, 2013. We are now the largest and most continuously updated “Made In America” website online, with new small businesses added weekly.
Our numerous travels over the years hatched the idea of developing this website as an informational resource for those seeking a unique specialty gift or simply “a taste of home”.
Please bookmark this site and check back often. We are continually adding to the selections for each state, in fact we add new products every week. Our immediate plans call for 50+ “Made In” products for each state and ultimately at least 100.
If you know of small local companies who sell interesting and unique products online, feel free to contact us and we very well could add them on the appropriate page!
This site is dedicated to my father, Robert C. Hofman, who spent a lot of time and money years ago taking our family to interesting places across the United States. His first question upon arriving in a new city or town was always, “What’s the local beer?”
